PAID Thank You!

We stopped by the grocery store today.  Every time we go, the people always go way out of their way to get stickers for the kids.  (With the older two in school now, it’s just Kaitlyn.) Today, the line we went in didn’t have the usual stickers…in fact the cashier didn’t have any stickers.  But she insisted on leaving her post behind the conveyor belt to go off in search of a sticker for Kaitlyn.  She came back apologizing that the one you see here is the only one she could find.  “PAID  Thank You!“.  Kaitlyn stuck it to her cheek and we laughed as I said, “Did I pay for you, too?” as we left the store.

You know, there is truth to that sticker.  (And I mean more than physically and financially through my complicated pregnancy and her NICU stay after birth and Synagis shots.)  I rejoice that she is paid for by the blood of Jesus.  I am, too…

and so are YOU!

“You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own].  So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body.”  1 Cor. 6:20 Amp (bold mine)

“You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for by Christ]; then do not yield yourselves up to become [in your own estimation] slaves to men [but consider yourselves slaves to Christ].”  1 Cor. 7:23 Amp

Christ paid the price, the ransom, for your soul – a debt that you could never have paid.  He sacrificed His life so that you may live in heaven with Him for eternity.  He loves you more than you could ever know!

Picture yourself with a “PAID” stamp or sticker on your cheek or forehead.  REJOICE!  Thank You, Jesus!
